The agreement contains direction about quality, safety, and ethical business practices.

Allteck makes no compromises with regards to safety in the workplace for employees, customers, subcontractors, partners, and the general public. In an industry as dangerous as the electric utility industry, where any oversights may result in injury or fatality, stringent requirements have been defined by various governing bodies including WorkSafeBC, BC Hydro OHS, and the Line Contractors Association among others. Allteck makes every effort to ensure requirements are met or exceeded to best protect from any dangerous or debilitating occurrences. These processes are further detailed in Appendix F – Safety Responsibility.
Allteck places great emphasis on dealing with all matters of business ethics and current business processes to ensure that the integrity of the company over its 25 year history is protected and maintained to the fullest extent possible. A dedicated HR Manager works with each crew to ensure that all crews are well-matched in personality, allowing them to work well and safely together as a unit. This crew unit is also given the opportunity to stay together while developing professionally through a diverse range of job opportunities and locations.
When conducting business in locations away from a local office, it is Allteck’s policy to contribute to the well-being of those communities by using local businesses, subcontractors and labour where applicable, including members of local First Nations. As an example, on a Fiber Optics installation project in Pemberton, Allteck trained and employed four Mount Currie band members to assist with Traffic Control.
Allteck believes in investing in the health of its employees. From a first class benefits plan to reward incentives, these investments contribute to Allteck’s low turnover rate.
